I love Agate and Crystals and I am loving home decor made of it! I have had some of these rocks for a long time and use it just for a pretty display, but funtional pieces……yes please! All of these pieces are great as gifts, I can’t see anyone not digging them.

So I keep telling myself I need to start doing Yoga to relax my mind and attempt to “live in the now” like Eckhart Tolle tells me. I bought a yoga Groupon awhile back and decided last week I would begin my classes. Here is an example of why I need yoga……
Everyone goes in, puts down their mat and grabs all the little gadget thingys we will be using during class, the instructor tells us to grab a blanket as well. When I went to the blanket section there were the coolest mexican blankets with all these pretty colorful designs and surprisingly they were soft and comfortable. I thought they were going to be rough and burlappy (I know I make up a lot of words by adding a “y” to the end of them)…but they weren’t. I stood there for a few minutes looking at each one trying to figure out which one would look best with my purple yoga mat. I decided on one because I knew I was taking way too long and people were looking at me weird. For the next hour of yoga as I was suppose to be focusing on my breath and body all I could think was……”I wonder where they got these blankets from……Are they wholesale and I have to order a whole bunch or could I order just one…..I bet they are expensive the quality is too good to be cheap…..I have to check and see if there is a tag on here with the company name…if not I guess I could ask the front desk if they know” This obsessive mind rambling went on for an hour. I managed to turn it off a few times…but it always comes back. Anyway….I found the name on the tag and went home and looked it up online.
The company is Sunshineyoga.com. They are Mexican yoga blankets, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use them for none yoga decoration. They are very affordable, anywhere from $12-$20 a blanket. Since I felt them first hand I can say they are really comfortable and good quality. These would be the perfect throw blanket to add some color and diversity to your room. They also have “heavy weight” blankets which are thicker and they could totally be used as a rug. It measures 77″ x 52″ which is bigger than a 3×5 rug and you could even put it on a rug pad.

These clocks are so fun and cute and would make an excellent addition to any kids room….or just to add a little whimsy to any room for the big kid in all of us! I can’t figure out which one is my favorite!!
